My poem is due for its MOT

It sadly failed first time,

They found excessive metaphors

And a tendency to rhyme.

Its modifiers were ambiguous

And had to be replaced

Alongside font and indents

No longer in current taste.

Rhythm, metre, context

Were described as rather regrettable

But the death knell for the rejection?

My poem was far too accessible.
